“Hero and Leander” is the name Kevin and Leander Russell have adopted for their company which produces the exquisite Lightcatchers you are about to view on this site. The name comes from the ancient Greek myth in which two lovers perish in their quest to fulfill their desire to be together. Lightcatchers is a range of mobiles in happy shapes such as hearts, stars, butterflies and sea creatures intricately constructed from a bed of fine wire then beautifully beaded to capture and reflect the light either from the sun or an artificial source. In any room, Lightcatchers transform a space into an enchanted land of light and sparkling jewels.
